I have been trying for a week now to post something to this blog and it just hasn't happened until now. Susan (the baby whisperer) got O to sleep FINALLY! We've has a long hard couple of days. But for now, I have some time.
These past few weeks have been tremendously exhausting. My mom tells me "I'm learning love".
This post is going to be super random and full of baby pictures so hang on.
First of all Chris and I have been married for two years on the 21st! We celebrated our second anniversary by going to Red Robin and baby slept the whole time. It has been a good, hard two years and I love Chris more than ever. He has made me one happy girl and I am truly lucky to have him in my life.
Secondly,
Mr. O has been doing great. He screams, poops and sleeps, usually in that order. He has gained almost three pounds and he is just over five weeks! It really has flown by.
This is this modeling shot.
And his drunk baby face
I figured out the Moby wrap and we both love it!
I can do things while keeping him warm and happy.
This is the new way we found to put him to sleep. Straight up and bouncing.
This kid loves to be violently bounced.. That's the only way to get him to sleep. And you do what you have to do right?
Third, Chris' parents and brother drove up from California to come to Owens blessing and they stuck around for a while so we were able to spend lots of time with them. We had such a blast! We went to City Creek, The Gardens at Thanksgiving Point and Bridal Veil Falls up Provo Canyon.
Uncle Ryan holding Owen for the first time.
Next time they see each other, O will be talking! (sorry it's blurry)
Good news: Ryan got his mission call.. he is going to the rainy city of Portland, Oregon! He goes into the MTC on September 26th and we couldn't be happier for him.

Can you spot the frog?
Me and my little man in front to the lily pads.
Chris never thought he would be one to carry the diaper bag.
I love my family.
Bridal Veil Falls
Fourth was baby Owens blessing. We had lots of family and friends that were able to make it.
It was a great day.
Halle, Susan and the Jones
Dad and Uncle John
Grandma and Grandpa
Aunt Libbie and Jill
Kaeli Dae, Jeff and Jessybaby
(two of my best friends from high school drove all the way up)
Oh how I love and miss these girls!
Chris and his proud parents
My big happy family
Chris did and amazing job by the way. It was very sincere and sweet. I love that guy.
I just found this picture and thought it was too cute to not share. This was Chris after he came home from ride alongs with the fire department. I don't think I've seen him happier.. not even when we got married. :)
Oh also, he is now a certified EMT!! He passed his written and practical tests with flying colors. One step closer to being a full on paramedic and firefighter! Woohoo!!
Okay, I think that's it for now.. I started this post around three this afternoon and it is now 10:40. :) I got it done though!! Thanks for reading.
Cute pictures! I so wish we could have been there! Miss and love you guys! Happy anniversary and happy baby blessing!
