Pregnancy and Prom

This baby boy has been growing like a weed. For six and a half months, I feel great. Other than the normal aches and pains, things are going wonderfully. Thor is also doing well.. as far as I can tell. He has just figured out how to elbow and knee me. It's a very odd feeling.

Shirts are getting tighter and tighter but luckily for me, my friend Jill took me maternity shopping. I will have to post a fashion show with all of the new clothes I have. I am one lucky lady. Thank you Jill for making me feel like a princess, it was much needed.

In other news, Chris is working harder than ever trying to find a job, study for his EMT and Anatomy classes and spend time with everyone. He is one busy guy. So far he loves his EMT class and Anatomy is another story. And he might have a lifeguard/swim teaching job by the end of the day. Fingers crossed.

It's been fun living here and being around all of the high school happenings.. Susan had her Prom last week and it was a blast.. for me! She loved it too of course but it was so fun for me to watch her get all dressed up and take pictures with her group. She looked so stinking pretty.
Susan is Amanda.. just so you know. I stated calling her Susan a long time ago when she all the sudden was taller than me and because of the movie Monsters VS. Aliens.. Susan the giant.

Jeff was also able to go to Prom this year too. His first ever Prom. He had a water polo tournament all day on Saturday and didn't get home until maybe an hour before the dance started. One of Amanda's senior friends didn't get asked and so when Jeff asked what we were going to do that night.. My mom and I jumped on the idea of him taking Amanda's friend to Prom. So he did! He was such a stud!! He asked her and then gave her about 15 minutes to get ready and dressed for the night. Chris and I drove them up to the dance so they could meet up with Amanda's group and everyone said they had a blast. It was so fun to watch my brother go completely out of his comfort zone and take Grace to the dance. He said he had a blast and I know she will remember that night for the rest of her life. It made me feel like I was in high school again.. it was great.
Jeff and Grace. How adorable are they?!?
(My mom and I made that corsage out of flowers from a neighbors garden, it looks professional doesn't it?)
What a great weekend! Hope your's was too!!
