Our North Shore Adventure

For the long Thanksgiving weekend Chris took me to see the beautiful North Shore. I have lived here for just about three months and haven't really been to see the sights. Our first stop was Turtle Bay:

Our "sexy" poses..

As we were driving towards Haleiwa, we passed the 2010 O'Neill World Cup at Sunset Beach. I only got these two pictures because there were too many people to try and stop.

Then we were on our way to get something to eat but I found an old building and wanted to get some pictures..

I know you're thinking.. "Wow.. a bunch of pictures of some random, old building". Yes, yes it is.. but I love it. I thought this building was so sweet. In some of the pictures, the sun is hitting it just right. Anyway.. enough of my rambling about loving old buildings.

Later that day we went to the BYUH Men's Basketball game and that was about it. The next morning (Sunday) Chris and I went to church and then wanted to get out of the house so a walk was needed.  We went to the beach of course and found a few lovely little critters.

On our front mat:

Snails love to eat the geckos here.. you'd think it would be the other way around.
                                                      Ugly slugs everywhere you look.

A giant crab hole. Usually they are fairly small.. not this big guy.

A nasty fish.. Chris called it the dragon.. We still have no idea what it is.

At the end of the day we both had a great time. I love spending time with my hubby!!

  1. Seriously, I think you can get a job with National Geographic when you're done living there. You've had lots of practice shooting strange creatures. And I love the old building photos. Love, love, love them!

  2. Oh, and I'd like to make a comment about your sexy poses. But I can't think of anything appropriate. So I will just laugh to myself. These need framing.

  3. You need to research that old building and find out what it was and what happened to it. Very cool! Oh, maybe you and Chris could live there when you go back. I bet it's cheap! haha!
    Love you tons.

  5. So weird! I was totally just thinking about that old building! I don't know why, but I was. I also have a love of old architecture- I think we talked about that. I think that place used to be a mental health/insane assylum. It still had a roof on it when I was living there:)

I love Chris' sexy pose! It made me laugh out loud! That dragon fish kinda looks like an eel.

I miss both of you so much. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving- it won't be long now until we see each other face to face!
